Works In Progress

Dystopian worlds of magic and mystery,

Have always filled my brain to the brim.

I’ve gained experience with novels grim,

To make up for my publishing history.

And now I sit much more informed.

I’ve worked real hard, and worked real long.

I’ve rewritten, revised, and pushed along,

Now proud to see the novels transformed.

My years of writing have now reformed,

My work won't be lost in the throng.

I’m filled with passion and imagination,

My art is now ready to be performed.

And though the wait has been long,

I feel a new sense of pride and motivation.

The Human Girl Series

Noble and kindhearted King Claudius has peacefully ruled over the vampiric Rose Kingdom underneath the human country of Arone for over a century. The humans and vampire hunters alike have nearly forgotten about the existence of vampires, with the creatures clinging to the shadows and running a secret blood bank in order to survive peacefully and without violence.

However, not all vampires agree. For to hunt and kill humans is in their nature isn’t it? Claudius’ younger brother Cain certainly thinks so, and to deny them the hunt and slaughter of humans is to deny their most basic urges. With these differing opinions, Cain leaves Rose Kingdom to find his own way, driven by his fundamental beliefs into a world previously unknown to the defiant prince.

Our story begins when Cain returns, killing an innocent family before disappearing once more without a trace. King Claudius, with his ever empathetic heart, adopts Celia, the young orphan girl left behind by his brother's cruelty. With a disapproving kingdom, Claudius will fight against all odds to prove that humans and vampires can co-exist peacefully.

As Celia grows surrounded by those who are unlike her, she begins to question the nature of her origins. Claudius is left with no choice but to dig for answers to the mystery of Cain's sudden attack and disappearance. Meanwhile Celia must grow and learn how to handle herself in a kingdom of vampires. Learning how to wrestle with prejudice, self doubt, and her own humanity.

The Children of WIMS

In the Forest

Magic is a tool, magic is a gift. At least that is what the Worldwide Institute Of Magical Services, also known as WIMS, has told the public for generations. But what WIMS really meant, is that magic is a weapon. A weapon, tool, and ability for them to exploit.

The children of WIMS are given lessons on how to use their divine abilities and sent to wonderful successful careers in high-paying jobs suited to their talents. Their families are compensated highly for allowing the institute to raise their beloved sons and daughters. To have a child chosen by WIMS is seen as a great honor, and a feat lucky enough to land you in luxury for the rest of your natural life. So long as you are comfortable giving your child to strangers to raise, in the name of a successful future.

But what happens behind the tightly locked magical doors is a mystery to all. And contact with your child after they are accepted is strictly forbidden. Then again, the whole world trusts this Institute and speaks of them with high regard. Surely, nothing bad would come to the children inside.

Experience the magical world of WIMS through the eyes of Ruellia, a fairy child who desperately wants to escape WIMS so that he can recover his freedom. But will he be willing to leave his friends and sister behind for his own benefit? Or will he be able to grant them their own freedom despite the task seeming impossible?

Discover the lessons, friendships, and horrors that await inside an institute where magic is exploited for money and power. While friendships and personal relationships are severely scrutinized in favor of the “all for one” mindset that is the Worldwide Institute Of Magical Services.
