We travel home, satisfied, tired, and yet sad to leave. In this post, read my final thoughts about the trip, including details I could not otherwise express.

We spend the day walking around Venice, the colorful island city with beautiful glass and masks.

We travel around Florence, seeing the Basilicas of the city and stumbling upon an interactive museum detailing Leonardo Da Vinci’s creative mind.

We arrive in Florence after a beautiful train ride. Seeing the Statue of David exceeded my expectations and left me breathless.

We take a quick trip to Capri Island and enjoy the beautiful garden and view that it offers.

We enjoy a tour of the beautiful Turuziello family farms, learning about limoncello, cheese, olive oil, and pizza making.

We say goodbye to Rome and take a beautiful train ride to Sorrento, where we travel through the ancient ruins of Pompeii.

We continue exploring Rome on foot, touring the Colosseum before visiting the Pantheon and the Papal Basilica of Saint Mary Major.

On the second day in Rome, the Uphams explore the Vatican. Where we see wondrous delights, timeless artwork, and learn quickly that marble is tough on the toes.

Traveling is fun, but packing and preparing can be stressful!
